Changing the bylaws
Offering a bid to potential members
Revoking membership
Electing officers
Setting the budget
Changing the budget
Things that do not require a chapter vote:
Selecting T-shirt color
Violating a policy
Holding an event
Scheduling an event
Deciding the new member program
Picking a Greek Week partner
Sending an email or note card
Creating an advertisement
Participating in homecoming
Don't confuse agreement with authority. Getting the support of your members is important, but letting them make all the decisions isn't necessary.
Your members were looking for someone to step up, show some courage, and set the course for the future. They elected you. You have their approval. They're just waiting for you to realize it. Now make a decision and get to work.
