From Hazing to Health for Professionals & Volunteers

Learn how to have the hazing conversation in a completely new way.  It's not about ethics, laws, policies, consequences or threats.  It's about building a healthier chapter. Experience the basic 90-minute From Hazing to Health workshop, and then learn the theory and research behind this groundbreaking approach.  Through group problem-solving, learn how to address the most common objections and challenges that hazing-supporters will present.

This program can be delivered as a half-day workshop, a full-day intensive institute, or as part of your staff retreat. 

Training and Curriculum Design

Learn simple techniques for improving the quality of your educational efforts and give your staff the tools to create more engaging training experiences. We present this information in a learn-by-doing format, so every participant leaves the session with a new and improved workshop of their own. And remember, education does not always happen in a classroom! Discover and learn to use the newest technology to communicate and educate your members.

Merging lessons from a variety of sources on change, strategy and organizational development, we help you identify opportunities for leverage, an improved allocation of resources, and the set of initiatives that will best allow your desired change to come about naturally.

This program can be delivered as a simple 60-minute workshop, a half-day retreat, or a full-day exploration and work session.

Facilitation, Coaching and Mentoring Skills

Give your team the skills they need to transform students' lives.  By applying the skills of a facilitator, a coach and a mentor, volunteers and staff members gain the power to help chapters become more successful. By teaching and applying a few simple principles, participants develop simple answers to the most common challenges they face when working with students every day. 

This program ranges from 3-6 hours and can be incorporated as a complete advisor-training program, a series of conference workshops or an intensive institute.

It takes more to understand today's student than joining facebook and knowing about helicopter parents.  There are a number of forces pushing and pulling on them every day, and by understanding these forces, we can gain a glimpse of the world through their eyes.  Learn the Four Forces, and discover techniques that work to motivate and empower these specific students.

This training can be delivered as a stand-alone workshop, part of a larger staff retreat, or a volunteer training session.
